Freelander td4 fuel rail pressure sensor

Hi, I hope someone can give me some advice. I have a 2004 Freelander1 TD4. Lately it has been losing power every now and then. It seems to happen mainly in 3rd or 4th gear. Sometimes the engine light comes on. If I switch the car off and on, engine light goes off and power is back. I scanned the vehicle and it registers fault code "P1190 rail pressure plausibility".

The rail sensor should show a voltage output of 0.5v key on,engine off. This should rise rapidly upon cranking, once above about 1.2-1.4v there is enough pressure for the ecu to start firing the injectors. The voltage should then rise to about 4.5v with a wise open throttle and immediately come back down on releasing the pedal.
Hi Guys and Girls, I have an issue with my 05 freebie Td4 which has done 95000 miles. She is rough idling at around 750rpm and is smokey (white) when cold, does not stall but is hunting. when warmed up she runs fine, I have noticed that when I disconnect the high pressure fuel sensor she stops hu...
High pressure rail (KPa): This shows the fuel pressure measured by the ECU on the high pressure side of the system using the fuel rail pressure sensor. Normal values at idle speed are around 30000KPa and while cranking 20500KPa.
As a newbie Freelander owner, I'm hoping to get some assistance based on my description of the problem. I drive a 2011 SD4 and experienced the vehicle grinding to a halt yesterday in the middle of rush hour. Now unable to start the car either. Seems to be a fuel problem as the engine wants to start but there seems to be air in the fuel system.

From the technical data I was advised that the voltage supply to this sensor, which by the way is a potentiometer type sensor, should be 5V at PIN 1, PIN 2 should be 0V, and PIN 3 at idle should be approximately 4.3V, and when the low fuel line pressure increases the voltage output should increase from 4.3V to just under 5V, in practice the ...

Hi all I am having a lot of trouble with my Freelander. It seems there is air in the system and I cannot seem to find the cause. When the engine idles, you can see small air bubbles in the fuel piping running from the filter to HP fuel pump. When the engine is off, there is a air bubble that is clearly visible about 10cm from the fuel filter assembly.
